Good food that would otherwise be thrown away tonight
How it works
Three steps before the shutters come down
-
1
Find it on the map
See tonight’s drops near you on a 3D map, sorted by what closes first or what’s closest on foot.
-
2
Hold it or pay
Hold a bag free for 20 minutes (add 15 minutes once if you’re running late), walk over and pay at the counter.
-
3
Walk over, show your pass
One tap opens walking directions. Staff scan your pass and hand over the bag.
Closing-hour price clock
The price sets with the sun
Every drop steps down three times as closing gets near. Come early for the best choice, or late for the lowest price. Everyone sees the same price at the same minute.

Live rack photo
Shot in the app at closing time, plus a short video. No stock photos.
Best-before on every bag
“Eat tonight”, “Best before tomorrow” or the date printed on the pack.
Diet labels you can trust
Plant-based, Vegetarian or Omnivore, and Pure Veg / Contains Egg / Non-Veg where that’s how people choose.
Allergens listed
Before you reserve, the kitchen says which of the 14 major allergens are in tonight’s bag (gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soya, milk, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin, molluscs), or that it has none of them. In Greece, Czechia, Romania and Thailand every bag must say; in Nepal and India the kitchen may list them, and a bag without a list tells you to ask at the counter. With a serious allergy, ask the staff before you eat.
3D food map
Walk, don’t scroll
Every pin shows tonight’s price. Orange means last call. Pick one and the route shows how many minutes away it is; one tap opens Apple Maps or Google Maps in walking mode.
For bakeries, hotels, grocers and kitchens
Turn tonight’s leftovers into sales in about a minute
- Snap the rack, tap what’s on it, and the description writes itself.
- The price clock steps down on its own until closing.
- A story poster and captions are ready for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.
- You pay only when BeloBag sells a bag: 15% of each bag sold in the app, and a small flat fee for each counter hold you hand over. No-shows cost you nothing.
- Your first 60 days are free, 90 for founding partners. No sign-up or yearly fee. Customers pay you at the counter, so the money goes straight into your till.
- Founding partners, the first 100 approved shops in each city: 90 days free, then for 12 months 8% in the app, at least €0.15 a bag, and no counter fee. Then the standard 15%.
In-app fees are at least €0.30 a bag (€0.15 in a founding partner’s first year), to cover card and wallet costs, and never more than the bag. The counter fee is €0.20 a bag, and nothing for founding partners until their founding year ends. Customers always pay your shelf price. Coming next: BeloBag Pro for hotels and chains, with waste and CO2 reports across several locations.
Fees are paused in your country until further notice; we’ll give 30 days’ notice before they start.

Questions
Is the food safe to eat?
Yes. Every item is within its use-by date and stored by the kitchen as usual. Each bag shows its best-before, so you know when to eat it.
What if I’m running late?
A counter hold lasts 20 minutes and you can add 15 minutes once. Where the app offers paying in advance, a paid bag is kept for you until closing.
Can I see what’s inside first?
Yes. You see tonight’s rack photo and the item list before you reserve. Bags hold what didn’t sell that day.
Is there a booking fee?
No. You pay the price on the bag, at the shop’s counter. BeloBag charges the shop, never you.
What does it cost a kitchen?
Nothing until BeloBag sells a bag. For a bag sold in the app: 15% of its price, at least €0.30 to cover card costs, never more than the bag. For a counter hold you hand over: €0.20. No-shows, cancellations and expired holds are free. New shops pay nothing for their first 60 days, and there is no sign-up or yearly fee. Founding partners, the first 100 approved shops in each city, get 90 days free, then for 12 months pay 8% in the app, at least €0.15, with no counter fee, then the standard 15%.
Fees are paused in your country until further notice; we’ll give 30 days’ notice before they start.
How are bags ordered?
Bags you can still collect come first. Then they are sorted by how soon pickup closes (the default), by walking distance or by best value (the biggest cut from the shop’s usual price), whichever you choose, and you can filter by diet, allergens and type of shop. The map shows every bag near you. Shops can’t pay for a better place.
